Now 2 Years Running! 2007 & 2006 Wine Spectator's prestigious
" Award of Excellence"
About the Awards
Wine Spectator's Restaurant Awards recognize restaurants whose wine lists offer interesting selections, are appropriate to their cuisine and appeal to a wide range of wine lovers. To qualify for an award, the list must present complete, accurate wine information. It must include vintages and appellations for all selections, including wines by the glass. Complete producers names and correct spelling are crucial and the overall presentation and appearance of the list is also taken into consideration. After meeting these basic requirements, lists are judged for one of our three awards. From the Wine Spectator:
While working on the wine list for the Winchester Inn, I was particularly interested in forming a group of great wines from the interesting regions throughout the Pacific Northwest, California and the world. Not only interesting regions but the best producers and vintages were required for this list. My goal is to maintain a wine list that is superior in quality for your enjoyment.
